The Newton Slide Show (NSS) is a demo package which displays images (photos).  It has the capability of either autoplay or manual display of the pictures.  Autoplay lets you select either slow (5 second) or fast (1 second) delays between pictures.  NSS also provides approximately 32 special effect transitions.
